We are incredibly excited to share the culmination of a great season.
The 2024-25 U.S. Drone Soccer season officially kicked off last September, and since then, the season has soared across the USA with 30 formal scrimmages, District Qualifiers and District Championships. A total of 55 teams secured their national rankings through fierce competition across 234 team-versus-team matches. Altogether, our student pilots took flight over 5,000 times—each one an opportunity to grow, compete, and elevate their skills.
This year’s 2025 Championship (now in its third season) hosted an unprecedented 24 teams from across the USA at the largest indoor Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) experimentation facility in the United States. Our mission is to inspire students to pursue education and careers in aerospace and science, and there's simply no location more inspiring than Skydome. Competing teams saw real-world applications of career pathways in aviation, aerospace, and UAS research.
The U.S. Drone Soccer 2025 National Championship winning became FAI F9A Team USA to compete at the 2025 FAI F9A World Drone Soccer Championships in Shanghai, China in November!
