We invite you to come watch all of the Drone Soccer action live and up close. We are incredibly excited to share the culmination of a great season. Competition begins at 2:00pm on Friday and will culminate with an awards ceremony at 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 3.
The 2024-25 U.S. Drone Soccer season officially kicked off last September, and since then, the season has soared across the USA with 30 formal scrimmages, District Qualifiers and District Championships. A total of 55 teams have secured their national rankings through fierce competition across 234 team-versus-team matches. Altogether, our student pilots took flight over 5,000 times—each one an opportunity to grow, compete, and elevate their skills.
This year’s Championship (now in its third season) is slated to host an unprecedented 24 teams from across the USA at the largest indoor Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) experimentation facility in the United States. Our mission is to inspire students to pursue education and careers in aerospace and science, and there's simply no location more inspiring than Skydome. Competing teams will see real-world applications of career pathways in aviation, aerospace, and UAS research. Even more exciting, the U.S. Drone Soccer 2025 National Championship top two teams will receive invitations to the 2025 FAI F9A World Drone Soccer Championships in Shanghai, China in November!
Come watch all of the Drone Soccer action live and up close! As our special guest, we can offer you a guided tour of the pilot pits to meet the teams. We look forward to seeing you at the Skydome. Please let us know your interest and plan to visit this amazing event.
